While my car is running again, I'll tell you how they lost the other 3 stars. First Star: Blew through two estimates, and charged much more than my mechanic, $120 per hour. Second Star: estimated it would take two days, kept it for eight. Third Star: while Mike was friendly and professional, the owner was rude and treated me like a common criminal when his payment system didn't work. I won't be going back.

Elite '2020 Elite '2020 5 check-ins I live in Ashburn and I wasn't going to get screwed by Virginia tire and auto again. My parents told me of this place and I decided to take my sonata there to be looked at. I wanted a second opinion after Virginia tire and auto claimed I needed to add around $500 worth of parts. Doug who looked at my vehicle was very professional and honest with me. My oil cap needed to be replaced but he claimed it didn't have to happen until when summer rolls around. I asked him about the other things I supposedly needed and he explained what was happening and that equipment was completely unnecessary. Massive thanks to Doug and his staff for being honest, thorough, and reliable. I only wish they could do two things to make things better: 1. Have a location in Ashburn! 2. Stay open on Saturday!

I needed work on my catalytic converter, cooling system, an induction service, as well as some sparks plugs. After I had gotten the car back from D&D it was making a funny noise and my first thought was "I'm gonna have to fight this." But I didn't, D&D fixed it happily, and we're very professional about it. The prices were fair and everything was done in a timely manner. My car works great and I will be going here again.

Dec 2013 Update: Again great job, even took time to rotate tires for free after a brake job. Have dealt with many places in my life. This shop is refreshing and honest. Just 2 blocks off King St, downtown Leesburg!! After numerous writeups on community facebook page by my neighbors, I tried Doug Kressley business and he won another satisified customer. Little shop 2 blocks off mainstreet in downtown Leesburg. Let the phone ring few times as Doug works both front desk and in the shop. I got the run around from POHANKA Lexus, telling me the catalytic convertor needed to be replaced. I had the work done believing them and the next day the same problem reoccurred. They would not honor their work saying it was the other side, and it would be another 1500. Needless to say, I brought it to D&D and they did the REAL testing finding it was simply and O2 sensor. I will always use them for future repairs and suggest others to drop their dealerships and follow suite.

D&D has done several repairs for us and we are completely satisfied with their work and their prices. I have owned everything from Pantera's and Porsches to old pick up trucks so I have lots of experience with mechanics. This is a friendly, honest shop that doesn't try to jack up the price. Everything they have done for us was fixed the first time and stayed fixed. I recommend them to everyone in my family.

This is a great repair shop. They will absolutely not try to upsell you on repairs or maintenance your vehicle does not need. I will always feel like I can trust bringing my vehicles to D&D and I plan to do so for the foreseeable future.

1 check-in Repaired my worn out brakes the same day I called in for an appointment. The people there were fair and honest. I will definitely be going back for all future repairs.

D&D is my standard auto repair place now. No problems, good advice, reliable, fair. Rates high on the integrity scale as well as on skill and timeliness.

Was VERY pleased with the service. I thought there was something wrong with my car because of the dashboard light that was on. They checked and double checked, and assured me all I needed was an oil change. WHEW! *huge sigh of relief* It is so rare to find a mechanic who does not try to rip me off. Will definitely be going back to D&D in the future.
